Hey man, I know it's been years, but I wanted to comment and see how you've been. I've watched most of your videos throughout your youtube career and loved the subaru series and all the racing you did. I also want to thank you for your service as well and for coming home safely. What I wanted to ask which I dont even know if you will see this, is how you made your custom front splitter on the sti, if you still know the dimensions or how to make it, and if I could possibly buy one off of you or seek guidance on making one myself. I've been building my wrx for the past 3 years and have gone through multiple setups and styles and turbos and power ranges and have now just decided to make it a time attack car. Curerntly, it's on a socal v3 turbo with fbo and supporting mods, full e85 flex fuel tune, and making close to 500whp now. I have beyond gutted the car and have every single chassis brace and solid billet mount and bushing, etc, and have a cage installed and massive 70" time attack wing. I am looking at getting a front splitter like yours and then a rear diffuser eventually but wanted to reach out to you in hopes that 1 not only youre doing good and are okay, but also 2 figure out how you did it. I haven't seen too many other styles of splitters like you made, and I just love the design you came up with. Anyways, I have no clue if you'll see this or not, but I hope you're at least doing good man. Semper Fi!

Good that you survived and your passenger too. But its risky racing on the track with your "daily driver" and not having proper racing insurance. Good luck with the rebuild project.

That’s called an intake baffle. Reduces engine intake noise.

I know this was 5 years ago. But I’m glad Lasfit move on to better appropriate high quality led bulbs. Everything of these led bulbs that 5 years ago is fine. But the headspace between the led chips is a bit larger, and the led chips themselves are bad. Those are COB. Glad they moved on so well and so fast to improve. Now with thin space to create an excellent beam pattern, with automotive grade led flip chips. They are much better. With perfect beam pattern and less glare above the cut off.

Exhaust clips should never be in a garage. You don't get a true sound. It's all echoed in there. Remark for the win btw!!

I just went through this trauma today too... getting that up and bolted in was sure a pain, took us 4 hours. I'm really hoping I didn't just replace my transmission for nothing... when you mentioned the pressure code, that's what mine has too, and it was serviced about 12k ago, I'm hoping they didn't underfill it... yikes :( Have to finish mine up tomorrow.

literally knew to put the reluctor that way. somehow i got high on transmission fluid and put it on backwards. now doing the entire clutch job again on my FRS 😂

Hey i just got the same cold air intake brand ect, I’m not too good with cars with the knowledge part and I received my intake the other day and the filter itself is dry so do I need to oil it up? Or can I stick it straight on like I see other people do thanks.

Damn that happened quickly. What is that track though... you just got launched over the barriers, they should re-inspect that track and close it down until they fixed that.

That woulda made my OCD go nuts because it doesn't match the tail lights.

That is some terrible track design. How is it safe for a car to loose controll instead of hitting the bariers or just spinning out it flys above the safety bariers .

Incase you are wondering , he took the first turn too fast and couldn’t correct it or didn’t see that the second turn right was that close . Just wrong speed at the wrong time :)

The extra weight from the passenger did it. Those bumps you are referring to would unsettle the car a lot more than with a single person in.

You were driving up a hill and when it leveled up before the corner the suspension was slightly unloaded so you had reduced grip. (a bit like when you jump over a hill and the tires are in the air) The main issue was carrying so much speed in that corner. The slide wasn't recoverable. Even if you managed to straighten the car, by the time you did, you would have been past the apex and about to enter the grass straight on at high speed (because you couldn't have used the brakes in this situation, doing so makes oversteer worse).
